At first ecstatic when she carried her first (and only) child to term, Fenres (their mother) fell into dismay to learn that her child showed to be a jack when they grew old enough. Ever considered odd by her sisters, Fenres decided to ultimately leave the village with her child lest they be taken from her to become a Wood Warder. Accompanied by close friend named Brynja, the three set off to make their ways in the wider world…Fenres unfortunately met her demise not long after. Neither Brynja nor Vjeshta speak of her loss, but since then, Brynja has become something of a surrogate mother for Vjeshta despite her many personal challenges. They, in turn, are very protective of her.
